With over 33 years of experience across the regulatory and financial sectors, he has held senior leadership positions, culminating in his role as Chief General Manager at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

At the RBI, he was closely involved in the supervision and regulation of banks and NBFCs, played a key role in establishing the Risk Specialist Division within the Department of Supervision, and chaired the Technical Advisory Group responsible for reviewing the RBS and CAMELS rating models.
